London Study Centre

ANGLO AMERICAN’S ACADEMIC FACILITIES

Anglo American Educational Services, one of the leading providers of academic services and student accommodations for the education abroad sector, recently opened a new, spacious Study Centre, located in the heart of Bloomsbury, Central London.  The modern, fully renovated Study Centre will enhance the academic opportunities for semester programs, internship placements, as well as faculty led short term programs.

London, one of the world’s most cosmopolitan cities, is the ideal location and the principal European destination for US undergraduate students enrolled in educational programs abroad.

Bloomsbury is associated with the historic, literary, cultural, and artistic life of the city and boasts one of the world’s most celebrated museums, the British Museum.  The area is within walking distance of the theatre district, major public libraries, the city’s largest bookstores, and other key sites.

The Study Centre, situated in historic Russell Square, is a listed Georgian Building, refurbished and configured to provide an up-to-date educational facility, while retaining all the original features.  The Study Centre is located just a few minutes walk from four major tube stations, and is served by a number of bus routes.

The Centre is home to the Anglo American academic, administrative and student support staff.  Onsite student services include assistance for individual and group travel, with a dedicated staff member, and links to student travel agencies, together with pastoral support.

The majority of AAES classes will take place at the Anglo American Study Centre using its state of the art facilities.  The building consists of six spacious classrooms, and houses administrative and faculty offices, an IT room and a students’ common room.  The largest classroom can hold up to fifty five students with small tables or tables and chairs.  The building is equipped with:

  • Premium classrooms and seminar rooms
  • Fully equipped faculty offices
  • Data projectors and AV equipment in all classrooms
  • Student computer terminals
  • Interactive whiteboards
  • Student reading room
  • Wireless facilities throughout
